When Glen Currie called by and told us that he is race director for the new multisport race at Terrace Downs we came on board to assist.
Multisport needs a boost at the moment – not enough decent South Island events. This was not always the case. What happened? After being involved as event and athlete sponsors since 1986 we took a break away from it for the past 6 years.
Glen deserves the support. Methven deserves the support. Terrace Downs deserve the support. Get your entries in.
Two weeks before the 2010 Speights Coast to Coast, Gordon Walker described his new Evolution Omega as “AWESOME”
Drier in the waves, holding a truer line, and allowing him a higher seating position, the Evolution Omega offered Gordon a better distance-made-good with lower fuel burn.

In addition Gordon repeated a typical Steve Gorney trick – he recorded the fastest paddle time of all 721 entrants.
Welcome to my new website. The old one was created before broadband was a reality. The old website structure was like a 1920’s car. This new one will, when finished, be more fun for you – and more fun for me. The construction will continue for a few weeks until all of the quirks are ironed out. It can only happen on the server that it will reside on.

Sisson Nucleus 100 is a multisport kayak designed for intermediate racing paddler and manufactured in New Zealand by Grahame Sisson.
I’ve been paddling my Nucleus for almost three years mostly exploring rivers and creeks in northern Colorado including South Platte, Cache la Poudre, St Vrain and Big Thompson , enjoying regular paddling workouts and virtual racing on my local lakes and ponds, and racing in the Dotsero Race in Glenwood Canyon on Colorado River and in the White River Run.
